- Application Cancellation: If the application is cancelled within this period, only the credit fees (tuition) will be refunded.
- Non-Refundable Fee: The Application Fee is strictly non-refundable.
2. Refund Application Process Refunds are not automatic; a written request from the candidate is required.
- A fully completed Refund Form must accompany the written request.
3. Course Cancellation by the University
- Partial Cancellation: If some of the courses selected by the applicant are cancelled (not opened) by the university, only the credit fees for those specific courses will be refunded.
- Full Cancellation: If all courses selected by the applicant are cancelled, the full amount (both the Application Fee and Credit Fees) will be refunded.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
- Deadline Expiry: Absolutely no refunds will be issued for cancellation requests submitted after the Online Application Period has ended.
- Add-Drop and Withdrawal: No refunds are granted for courses dropped during the "Add-Drop" or "Withdrawal" periods once the term has commenced.
- Late Registration: Refund requests from candidates admitted and paid during the Late Application period will not be accepted.
5. Currency and Calculation: The refund amount is fixed in Turkish Lira (TL) based on the Central Bank of Türkiye's effective selling rate on the date of payment. This fixed TL amount is then converted back to US Dollars at the exchange rate on the date of the refund.
6. Refund Recipient: In accordance with security procedures, refunds are issued strictly to the original payer and account. If a third party (e.g., a parent) made the payment on behalf of the applicant, the refund will be issued to that third party's account.
