BUEPT Passers
Students who pass the proficiency exam (BUEPT) can take a maximum of two courses. Please contact your department advisor first regarding the courses you can take!
The summer school registration process briefly consists of the following steps:
- Course determination (by consulting the department advisor)
- Calculation and completion of the payment amount
- Course selection
- Advisor approval
1. Course Selection Planning
It is recommended to determine the course(s) to be taken in summer school in advance with the advisor assigned by the department.
2. Determining the Payment Amount
The amount to be paid for the selected courses can be calculated using the Summer Payment Calculator tool on BUIS.
- Fees are calculated based on the total T+U+L (Theory + Tutorial + Laboratory) hours, not the credits.
- This tool is for informational purposes only; transactions made here do not constitute an actual course registration.
Sample Calculation
For a program consisting of two courses:
- MATH 101 (T+U+L): 4+0+2 = 6
- SOC 101 (T+U+L): 3+0+0 = 3
- Total T+U+L: 9
- Credit Fee (YKR): 9 x 630 TL = 5,670 TL
- Application Fee (YKA): 1,170 TL
3. Payment Procedures
2026 Final Registration Payment Schedule

4. Consent (Instructor Approval) Process
During course selection, different quota information may be encountered. This information can be found in the quota (quota) field on the course page.
3 Possible Scenarios:
-1: Consent of Instructor Required (Consent of Instructor)
- Instructor approval is mandatory to register for the course.
- A consent request must be sent through the system.
- The instructor may accept or reject the request.
When approved:
- The course is not automatically added to the program.
- The student must add the course manually.
If rejected or unanswered: Registration for the course is not possible.
1000: Unlimited Quota
- The course is open to all students.
- Direct addition can be performed.
- Consent is not required.
Specific Number: Restricted Quota
- Course capacity is limited.
- The course can be added directly until the quota is full.
- After the quota is full, consent is required for registration.
Important Notes Regarding Consent
- Consent request does not require prior payment.
- Once approved, the course must be added to the program within 24 hours.
- Courses are never automatically added to the program under any circumstances.
- Communicating with the instructor beforehand can be helpful; however, this does not replace official consent.
5. Completing Course Selection
